On the harvesting side of things, I beg to differ, unless I'm mistaken

Harvest difference between Novice Scout and Master Ranger is about 1.75x. So if a Novice Scout gets 100 units a kill, a Master Ranger would get 175. And someone spending skill points over multiple combat professions can kill twice as much as a Master Ranger without too much trouble. It is a difference but it's not nearly worth the skill points.

Not only that, but if you go up to hunting 4, you can eat vegash and "aquire" master ranger-like harvesting ability.

Foraging is completely worthless by the way.

I just love Martial arts, so it was a pretty fast choice I made their.

Bad news: Ranger will do nothing to enhance that. We have been trying to get attack bonuses to work with brawlers, however.

But having a template with that have just not worked for me. I have tried many proffesions(Not mastered but Novice and halfway through). Chef... Rifleman.. Carbineer... Pikeman... Heavy swordsman.. CH... And a few others as well I think.

Today though I discovered, that I really love to harvest dead animals.

While not very happy with Camps and traps, it seemed allright.

What I would like to ask ...

Is stuff like tracking, creature knowledge, creature harvesting and forage worth it.

Foraging really is only good for feeding a pet.

Is it possible to make a business by selling this kind of stuff?

Yes, but it is complicated. You have to look for what everyone will need to make things and know the difference between really good and will sell and really good but won't sell. You can get suckered into missing the optimum sale easily just because the numbers look good. You will have to learn to pass up things that will eat your time and won't sell as good for those that will sell. It's almost an artform. It's not like mining were you look for the good stuff and drop the harvestor. You go look for the good stuff and your workday begins instead of ending it and going on to the Geo cave.

I really would love to open a resourceshop(Just don't have enouge skill points for Artisan Business 3 )..

You won't, typically. I make deals with other merchants for a dedicated vendor for me.

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

Well, the actual skill point cost to power ratio isn't worth it. Master Rangers can't do much more than a Novice Scout. But it is fun. And we're hoping for some fixes/enhancements soon.
