I've had this idea since they stopped letting us build houses on advanced planets. The idea is to allow rangers to use a plot to build a small cabin, not much larger than a merchant tent that would allow us to store some things. It could carry the same healing ability as one of the advanced campsites but exist as a permanent structure that we can build on dathomir, endor and yavin (or any other planet, but I'm targeting the ones we can't put houses on right now). maintenance cost would be the same as the merchant tent. Basically it would be a carbon copy of the merchant tent, but have a different appearance. I really don't recall whether or not we can enter buildings while fighting, but this structure would have to have the restriction that we cannot enter while in battle.
any thoughts on this idea? or is this idea been around longer than me on this board?

Have a look at the last version of the State of the Profession that NRaas posted. The idea is in there. But there is a lot that can be done with it.
