Thread: APOCALYPSE NOW, MY REPLY TO JEDI
I hate to say this but I might join you... and this is hard as one of the originators of trying to get AR spread to other servers (or mine, at least). I wouldn't mind cleansing the galaxy of l337 d00ds and put those worthy of being Jedi in the prof instead.

Careful there, Fred. Our server does have a few worthy Jedi. But even some of them are starting to turn due to some of the problems with the system (kill **CsOtUeGaHl** competition with krayts and such). And a lot of others do deserve killing. And the BHs don't really need our help. They can find the Jedi easily enough (as long as the Jedi are online and not abusing some of the tracking bugs). The best thing to do would be to get BH 3/x/x/x and hunt them down yourself (while still keeping Master Ranger). Might be fun...

Okie dokie - Y'all mainly know I think BHs are two steps lower than whale poop, which sits on the bottom of the ocean.
I replied to the happy lil Jedi - go scope it out.
I am as serious as a heart attack - they want organics, I start areatracking organics - Jedi organics. Wonder how freaking long they want to stay inside?

Lol. If only it was a useful threat. No BH needs our help. And most Rangers don't have enough combat skills to take down a Jedi. Although it might be fun to become an Imp and go overt and just kill all the Jedi around, mission or no. Just make sure to bring enough ranged fighters around to surround him and blow up his bike before he can run

Heh... I posted my thoughts in that thread and was in 1-star hell until more Rangers started showing up.
I'm a strong supporter of my professions. That includes Jedi, and that includes Ranger. Why all these players think it's appropriate to have Jedi be able to do EVERYTHING with no class interdependancy is beyond me.
It amazes me as the sheer number of children or adults who whine like children who accomplished Jedi. That really gets to me sometimes. That and the high number of PvP types who think "role playing" a Dark Jedi gives them license to grief. I'm all for role playing... I'm all for evil jedi... but some child sending hate tells like "u suck... imps rule... ima kill u... ur a **edit** rebel scum" that just sucks both the fun and immersion right out of the game for me.

Heh, your post made it sound like all of us thought this was a good idea. This is not true, I for one think it is a lowsy idea. This would only give the Devs an excuse to leave the Jedi as part of the economy which is just plain dumb. I think that Jedi should be independant of all other classes, but seeing as we don't use organics there is really no reason why we should collect them.
BTW, DO team up with bounty hunters, if they need your help chances are that the Jedi has logged off then on again. Whether they did this simply to circumvent the system or not, the BH still needs help finding them and I say go for it.
I was actually starting to sympathyze with jedi because of their situation concerning creds and crystals, but if this is how it's going to be, then this is how it's going to be. Granted I only know one BH with enough brain power to form coherent sentences, I'm sure I could round up enough people to take one or two down.
The jedi (along with everyone else on my server) are exceptionally stupid. Two of them got the crazy idea that they should level up at the Geo Lab... I don't know what the hell they were thinking, but two full groups of BH's showed up and annihilated them, and that's not including people that were already there and some other random BH that actually had one of the jedi as his mark.
I mean, seriously, why would you whine about having to grind to master jedi? I knew before the game was released it wouldn't be an easy thing to do, and I was right. There aren't any real perks to being a jedi master anyway, aside from RP. What's a jedi master going to do, duel? Endorse Vasarian Brandy? Retards...
Horrible idea to let Jedi harvest.
I'm sure the devs will give it to them, though. They seem to be giving them everything they want lately.
