Hey all,
In case you missed it, GreenMarine posted in the Scout trapping thread. The fix suggested (as I understand it - I could be mistaken) is to make trapping xp dependent on the Creature's level, and to leave the trapping mod as is.
A few people have expressed dissatisfaction with this and would rather see the ability to trap creatures be dependent on your CL (so you can always trap creatures at your level, regardless of your mod) and move the more effective Adhesive Mesh and P-Dart into the Ranger trees so they can't be temploited.
Make sure you go there and post your opinion! I and Owen have both pointed the developers to Owen's thread on trapping, but it does not hurt to duplicate your opinion on the Scout forum even if you have already stated it Owen's thread.
It is possible we will see GreenMarine's change regardless, since some of the suggested changes involve creating new traps for Scout, but we can continue to push for these wider changes when Ranger traps are revamped, if they are what you want.
