Hi everyone... I love being a ranger and I love to read the forums. I don't even know if I've ever posted before on these boards, but I feel now is the time.

Yes, I am dropping the master ranger title that I got only a short time ago. I won't ever stop being a ranger though. Even if I don't have the title, I can still teach people the ways of hunting. I can't tell you how many times a noob on Dath ruins a rancor hunt, but you already know that. :-P After I drop, I'll still love to hunt, and I'll be able to do it better, being a master ranger and a master combat prof leaves no room for anything else as we all know.

Anyway, I'm dropping so that I can pick up enough medic so I can live to harvest what I kill, hehe. I might go for master ranger again if I decide to drop rifleman which I am trying for now.

Happy hunting to you all, and I'll see you in the field.

Just thought I'd pop in and say, hi. Ive been away from SWG for about 6 months. Getting used to all the changes. Any other rangers or pikeman on kettemor gimmie a shout sometime. Im curious about which creature resources are hot and what the typical going rates are.

thanks

Welcome back, check your galaxy trade forum for hot resources. Depends on the server usually.

cool, thanks. I noticed that Im getting a much larger ammount of resources per creature. I was wondering if group hunting yeilds better resources per creature than solo now. I wasnt so pre-cu, but now im curious. Also, whats the average ammount that rangers are getting solo from lvl 80 creatures?

thanks

Depends on the creature, I believe. Something like 600-700 units, I guess is what I remember being average from Bols, Dewbacks, etc. Grouping certainly helps up the numbers by about a hundred units.

yeah groups seem to be helping a bit, but i dont really like to group. thats always been the appeal of ranger to me. just going out solo, exploring and providing goods to crafters. thats the main reason i came back, i always liked doing that stuff.

Solo....

I thought that was taboo.
