Thread: Stackable Traps Can Factories Make Them?
I realize that as a craftable, there is a large amount of customization/experimentation that can occur in traps, thus the reason traps do not stack, however, is there a way around this? Can you create factory identical traps that stack more than 2-8?
I'd like to know if someone can confirm if you can put a trap schematic in a factory and produce a large stack of traps.... anyone??
Also, can someone give some ideas on trap quality/experimentation? Does trap quality even matter? It seems arbitrary what goes into a trap as most critters react differently to the same batch of traps... (ie.. I can throw 1 trap at a critter.. then throw another of the same batch, and it may not have the same duration of effect... thinking specifically of adhesive mesh)
Yes, you can make factory crates of traps. I got tired of making them by hand and loaded up my 2nd account's equipment factory. Worked great.
Experimentation seems to be tied to artisan skill not trapping skill. All I have in the artisan line is survey 4 and I only get 1 experimentation point, even though I have the ranger trapping 2 skill. So I haven't really done much with trap experimentation. This is something that needs to be changed btw...why does making traps and camps give us gcxp and not trapping and camping xp? And experimentation should depend on trapping skill. We are not, as a rule, artisans.
What's REALLY weird is that making camps gives you SURVEY experience.

No wonder I have piles of survey experience. I only survey / sample when I need more metal for traps / camps.
What kind of factory is required to mass produce traps?
