Ranger Archive

I was with a Master Ranger a few days back trying to track down a razorback boar on the hot sands of Tatooine. We actually set up camp and sat and talk for some time. It was reminiscent of the old days I remember when I first played SWG and we actually used camps with scouts and have an occasional person stroll in and join us. Or while sitting down watch the occasional Cu Pa or Squill at the distance. My first few friends in SWG were not Jedi, but scouts.

Today, all I see are bol hunt groups, whining Jedi, whining Bounty-Hunters, and impatient young force-sensitive dudes.

I tip my hat to all you rangers who still stick by faithfully to your profession knowing that no matter how sucky things are, you always hope and pray for the better.

Rangers gotta go guerilla. If the Combat Medics can have such awesome offensive debuffs and defensive heals, I suggest the Rangers get such offensive traps. Has the community forgotten about traps? Wire mesh traps are dumped at the first sight by many. Why can't Wire mesh traps be as deadly the Combat Medics' Paralyze? Why can't there be powerful poison dart or firetraps? I hope to see SOE bring Rangers up to a higher level.

Yall are upbuilders of the SWG community. My utmost respect to all of you who continue enjoying the profession. Enjoying the art of it,not the science.

I felt sad with the BH terminals since publish but come to think of it you guys don't even have terminals (explorer terms dont count). Look at your traps, they are crap. Nobody use camp kits now, everybody too busy trying to get glowie. Combat Medics are tougher than you. Im sure the respec phase thin your numbers too.

I went lookin for the Mark of Courage with a Ranger. My first friend in game is a scout and bounty-hunter. I just think u guys are really patient people who play a profession with real love.
