well since i was in front of the torton cave when i logged in today i decided to try it out. the tortons are stronger, they now have resists, which is not a bug. but, you now can loot stuff off the bones. well, you can certainly try.

but you won't be able to. in one pile of bones, i saw a cdef rifle, a clothing attachment, and some crustaceans. i got the credits from the bones but was unable to pick up the loot. maybe you have to finish the cave?

another thing is, you used to be able to stand on top of the one cliff and shoot the matriarch and protector that were down there. not anymore. when i shot the protector, it came around the corner and attacked me. i was like, "whoa, these tortons have gotten smart". but then, when iattacked the protector,a mature pygmy torton was able to scale the cave wall, which would be impossible since the torton would have to walk upside down, and killed me.

no doubt i'll try the cave again, just thought i'd warn you before you started taking out the matriarch from above.
