Silly Q time. Has rescue been un-nerfed?

Situation - Messing with a BH last nite - he is dying, bleeding out, the mark is eating his lunch. I thought the mark was dead.As the BH is on his last legs, I throw a rescue on him, mainly to mess with him. I see in my target block the lil rescue dude, thenthe BHincaps. Thinking nothing more of it, I move out. Turns out the mark was not dead, just incapped. He got up about 10 secs later. I am standing around, bs'ing, when the combat music starts... I am in combat, with no "reds" in the area. The mark attacks me, but being the hoo-ah Ranger type I am, I kill his sorry butt, get some decent XP (wow, xp, wooo hooo...yawn).

Thought we could not do this, the old "I am the Cleaner" routine. Thought this was disallowed as mission griefing and the BHs whined for days/weeks and got it nerfed.

NRass, can you check this out? And if someone else can try this and report back, I would be indebted to them.

I do know that rescuing players from other players was fixed (as itcould be used to side-stepthe PvP rule set)...

• I wasunaware they had also fixed the Bounty Hunter mark issue at the same time.

I would love to hear that someone else was also able to accomplish this "rescue".

Personally, I find the ability to rescue marks to be quite helpful...

• However,most Bounty Hunters seem to think otherwise.
