I just saw this in the patch notes.
Bio-engineer - Tissue Engineering: Added the new Mask Scent skill to the Scent Camouflage & Scent Neutralization tissues.
Does this mean that BE's can now havethe mask scent/conceal skill ? If not please explain what these tissues do.....
I am not a BE and only havea hazy idea about the tissues, so someone please correct me if I'm wrong. This is how I interpret this:
BEs make tissues that add skill bonuses to clothing. Tailots could use these tissues to, for example, make a jacket that would include a +3 bonus to the conceal skill. Previously, one of the skills BEs could make bonuses for was conceal. However, when maskscent and conceal were changed into separate skills, they could not add bonuses to the new maskscent skill. This fixes that.
- The suit would last longer than a regular camo kit
- The condition of the coat could be used to regulate the duration of the outfit
- The coat would need to be worn to utilize the camoflauge enhancement
- When damage is incurred during combat, the coat could reduce in condition as a balance to being able to retain /conceal during combat

NRass I thnk you can mark this one off your list ;-)
"Ok well assuming this is true, then doesnt that take care of the folowing request from the Ranger list of issues?"
Tissue engineering is used to augment a character's existing skill modifiers.
- Namely,a Rangercan increasetheir camo skill and make better kits, and be more effective in using them.
The concept behind the Ghillie suit is, when equiped, the outfit works like /conceal, as well as providing other benefits.
- Namely, a Ghillie suit equiped Ranger could possibly sustain damage during combat and not loss their concealment (a prime benefit to many Rangers)
IftheGhillie suitwere made with camo skill tissues, it would serve both purposes. Increasing your skill and providing the other benefits. ![]()
I have a +12 to Camo shirt made by a BE. It works ![]()
The +Maskscent was not added to it![]()
Looks like I'll have to find a new shirt that is 15/15 ![]()
