So Rangers, let me ask you this...

What are your thoughts on being an Antarian Ranger? Have you helped out a Jedi...CAN you help out a jedi?

I have heard that you could scan area (areatrack-players) and inform when badies are on the way. I also heard you could quickly trade with jedi and thus become targetable by the BH coming your way...and maybe stand in for the jedi and then maybe attack said BH if he hits you 1st.

So what are your thoughts?

I am on Kettemoor and there are a few of us Rangers who have expressed interest in forming up a AR group...I think we just need a little guidance from above..or another galaxy will work too!

AR (at least for Eclipse) does not "seek" them out in this timeline for RP perposes, as they are also supposed to be hunted. It also helps in a few tests...

1. They have to know we exist. A test of "lore". If they be "true" Jedi and light side (and willing to RP) they would have no problem with this. Call it a "SW fan test".


2. They have to find us. Call it a "test of exploration". They have to drop the showboating and be willing to level in purpituity. I'm not telling where we are to everyone. Don't want BH's and Imps poking around on our doorstep looking for Jedi. Sadly, this may exclude Imps from joining, but so far the RP aspect has not causes a delema yet. I do have Imp customers, they may not know of our status (unless they read this but we are all covert and I'm not telleing). Even hunted with them, still covert of course. As long as they don't hunt Rebs.


3. No kids. Note that I did not say an age. I know 12 year olds more mature then some 34 year olds, I speak of attitude. I can't tell from a toon your age anyway, but attitude cannot be hidden. You wouldn't have the patience to get by #1 and #2 in the first place if you were not mature.

I personally think it's great. I've never personally helped a Jedi, no. In my opinion, I think many on Sunrunner are afraid to reveal themselves, or trust anyone. This is of course understandable. And I also think that many Jedi don't know about Antarian Rangers. I would suggest someone making a post on the Jedi forums, giving them a history of the Antarian Ranger, and then let them know that we're here to help. But let's not forget Antarian Rangers were also employed on the front-lines of a battlefield.

I'm an Antarian Ranger on Sunrunner, but I have not rendezvous with any other Antarian Rangers. I would like to, but from the list on them on sunrunner, there's only about 5 of us. Right now I work alone, but hopefully in the near future I can make contact with Antarian Rangers.
