Hello,

I just got the ability to make a camo pack for dantooine. So I figured cool, I give it a try and see if it is better than the mask scent. I made the pack while on dant and tried to use it on myself. No good, every time I would 2x click it or radial menu it to use or put it in a f# slot, all I got was a description of the item. I tried highlighting myself and clicked on another guild mate to do it and got the same results. Is this bugged or am I doing something wrong in how to use it?

I appreciate any help you can give.

there is a command called /conceal ( I believe.. I only used camo once awhile back when i first got the skill)

That is what you need. Look it up in your CTRL-A Macro window... should be under Other or something.... Put that in your hot keys.

That's correct... you either click on the hotkey binded to the conceal command or just type /conceal. The system will look in your equipment for a camo kit for the planet you are on, and if you have one available, you will a message along the lines of "Your appearance is now obscured by complex camoflauge" (or something like that).

Conceal can still break just like mask scent does, though it's suppose to break significantly less. It also originally worked on NPCs but now that's somewhere in limbo... It also generates Scouting XP like Mask Scent, but at 66% the rate.

Hey Mando, that 66% rate you speak of, is that a 66& increase? or 66% of what you get with Mask Scent ( a decrease...)

Don't target anything or target yourself. Type "/conceal" and you are. Target a player and they are. You can bind this to a function key as well. The item has to be in your regular inventroy, won't work if it's in a backpack.

Tip: get a Weapon, Driod and General crafting tool. Find a like public version (or find access to a private one) and stand near it. You can experiment more uses into the stack. You can also make a draft schematic and make crates of them with access to a factory (what I do ).

Talus camo kits look like 6packs. Guess what RangerJB is giving as presents?? You name the beer or soda, you get a free six pack. Makes a decent house decoration. Novel to say the least.

Svengali, you get 66% of what you would get while using /maskScent. It's a decrease of 1/3 the xp for some reason.
