Master Ranger here. Droid is 108.Ok guys here are some results for the new harvest droid/Veghash combo. I was harvesting low level mobs as a test. On Talus, I did a vynock mission and a rasp mission and sent in the droid and ate some Veghash that was +16%. I noticed for harvest that normally garnered 10 hides/bone, I got 12 and for 20 I got 24. (overall 20%) Now that was for the rasps. I got a different numbers for the vynocks for similar harvests. I figure it is bugged somehow. Now, I picked up some BE Veghash +33% and went out with the probot as well. I was grouped and buffed but I did the missions solo. This time I was hunting tortors. I got some pretty good numbers for the hides. I think it was 50 hides normally and that netted 58 hides (not 33%)with the BE Veghash. I am not totally certain on this as far as the other harvests.There were some in the 30's and 40's that I can't recall. 50/58 just stuck out.I know that my experiences with both were fairly productive and fun. My question is this: Should I be pulling a 24% increase with the harvest droid and non BE Veghash and a 41% increase in harvest with the harvest droid and BE enhanced Veghash? If so, for the rasps it was within the right numbers for the first combo. Vynock missions were not in line and the same goes for the tortors with the BE enhanced Veghash. I would expect numbers to be higher in these instances. Again, I tried at least 2 rasp missions, 2 vynock missions, and 4 tortor missions. With the rasps and vynocks, it was Veghash +16% and the harvest droid and with the tortors it was the BE Veghash and probot. Didn't try BE Veghash and harvest driod. Numbers were right with the rasps but were off with the vynocks and tortors. What have been your guys results? Is this bugged right now overall? What should I expect for harvests for the particular combos mentioned?

PS My guildies said the harvester droid sucked, (I don't think they have actually used them) but I did not find this to be true. In larger groups and more experienced planets maybe yes. But, you don't harvest until the mobs are all dead in that case I would guess. The harvestdroids are pretty easy to manage when doing solo if you use single letter commands (IE "h" for harvest). Then you can start the next mob with no prob. He he. I even got the droid to harvest from a greater distance than expected. Overall it was not a bad experience though. In all cases the harvest went into my inventory although I doubt my droid had storage because of the 108 rating. I feel scouts will get the most benefit right now. But, it is my opinion that the MR should see the most benefits from this. Feedback from you MRcats is very welcomed. And I would like to hear results from box four of creature harvests for Rangers too. In case I would only like to keep that tree.

I spent alot of time w/ my 96 rated R3 today. For some reason it seemed like it was more effective than it had been the past week or so. Pickets were giving me around 76 hide, w/ my droid and veghash I was able to get 97 or so consistantly. Voritors that would normally give about 102 were giving 122 bone. Overall I'm pretty pleased w/ the results. Although it seems that the more resources the harvest would give, the bigger benefit the droid provided. (I guess that's because of the percentages? ie. 20% of 100 is more than 20% of 30.)

Anyways, there's a few things I had to get used to w/ the droid (slight lag in response to commands - have to keep the corpse targeted fora couple seconds after giving it the command... randomly stops at the corpse at times and either doesn't harvest or gives no resources but tells me the corpse has already been harvested...), I'm really happy with it can can't wait to get my hands on a 105+ rated droid.

This was with a 0040 ranger. The techniqueI was using: one hotkey set up to issue the "chase" command, for when I'm engaging the creature. That would send the droid out to the creature and have it stay close until it dropped. Then I would give the harvest command and pause a second until it started creeping along closer to the corpse. Most of the time I could then target the next creature and start firing my attack commands, and a few seconds later I would get the "your droid has successfully harvested..." message. Then I would give the "chase" command and start the process over again.

Master ranger here. No veghash, just me and my R3 droid at 103%. Up on Dath tonight was doing surefooted brakasets. I was in a group with 4 others and some pets. I would get 134 hides and my droid would get 145. Nice. Harvest droids seem to bemore helpful for solo hunting cuz the corpse is already targeted as you kill the mob. When in group, you gotta wait till everyone is ready to harvest so then you gotta retarget all the corpses before you hit you harvestcommand hotkey. Ok I thoughtI remember once seeing a keyboard command to cycle through corpses but I dont remember it and can't find it anywhere, any help?

Another Master Ranger here (hehe). My droid is rated at 113, and I've been relatively pleased with the result that I've been seeing as well. I've been swamped, so I haven't done any serious hunting with it (ie., an all-out six hour harvest fest), but so far, I'm pleased. It doesn't go through batteries too fast, puts the stuff right into my inventory (it's a pure harvesting dorid, as you might have guessed), and doesn't seem all that slow. Any bonus that I can get in harvesting equals more resources for less time in the field, so I'm more than glad to have this droid.
