Thread: I am this >< close to snapping...
Been there, done that. Kinda hard to hunt for resources to sell when we are constantly needing resources to make crates and crates and crates...of camo. ![]()
Not that a Ranger NEEDS credits. /sigh

What do you expect when you smear yourself with prey animal meat and prey animal skin?
LMAO!
I've often wondered before, "Why the hell am I'm using the most preyed upon animal's meat hide myself from predators."
Did they not think of that at all when drawing up the Ranger class?
So a guy who owes me favors asks if I want the Rebel SIgnet ring given away by Wedge in the theme park. This lead to a discussion about camo.
I realized, I don't camo myself at all. Maskscent is free, works as well, and seems to work better. Maybe I camo non-scout friends, that's about it.
Camo'd Rangers, they are "what's for dinner?".

I have stacks upon stacks of Camo kits in my bank, next to mycamps.
As it happens I destroyed all my stocks just last night, I dont see em being needed in the near future...
LOL, it's just dawned on me that this means I valued empty space in my deposit box more highly than some of my key skills, dear god thats depressing.
Harder to take off then regular makeup, seems to cause an allergic reaction in most critters, making them want to eat me. Mask goes on and off much easier, less of an allergic reaction with critters.

Tell me about it...that stuff is a pain
I dont use camo, I used to use it on other people, but it broke even more on them than on me. I used 3 stacks of camo on endor on a buddy of mine, and I had to re-apply it every 2 minutes.... or when ever we passed an animal that wasnt already dead.

That's why I stopped using camo long, long ago.
I kid you not, the very first time I tried camo the first creature that broke it was a kreetle. A lone kreetle. I was a Master Ranger at the time having made Master long before camo was added back in. Put camo on, stepped out of the house near Anchorhead and blam - detected! Needless to say, I wasn't impressed and despite all the tweaking, modifying, and changing that skill went through - it still sucks. If there ever was a design goal for it, I'd like to know what it was.
In the end, all the crates of camo I made I ended up trashing because I just stopped using it. I didn't even bother to try and sell it because I wouldn't wish such a useless skill upon anyone. Elite skill my a$$...
