Thread: Desperately Seeking Stoneskins

Last night on Endor...
I was grouped with a Jedi friend of mine..we were cutting a swath of destruction throught the plains of endor. We got this crazy idea to hunt for the Gorax.
So, we hoofed it up to the northern deserts... (he and I actually prefer to walk while hunting) and I started tracking. After a while, we split up to stimulate spawns.
Within 10 minutes, we found a stoneskin hanadak level 135, 90k HAM, Massive all above 80% resists. Rumor has it that if you kill 4 of these bad monkeys, a Gorax will spawn.
Well, we called up a commando and a rifleman and took down 9 of the stoneskin hanadaks and there were no gorax at all.
So either the killing stoneskin method doesnt always work or ive heard that they are tweeking the gorax again. In anycase, there appears to be a pattern of where the gorax and the stoneskin spawns.
There is a ribbon of known spawn sites in the northern deserts If you cut the desert in half along the horizontal line, search above that line. Send people out in different directions to stimulate the spawn of the stoneskin (the method comes from a very reliable person, so im not knocking it). When you find a stoneskin...regroup and kill the critter. Within 3 to 4 minutes another should spawn. Kill that one too. Keep killing them until (so ive heard) a gorax will spawn in the area.
I dont know if this is working now, or if it has ever worked. Either way... hope this has helped (grouped the stoneskin drops about 556 units of resources...which was nice as i was hunting for carnivore meat any way)

I have also heard of this method 
. I have also heard thatGorax don't always spawn after killing the hanadak, but they only spawn after killing a hanadak (does that make sense?). I equate it to collecting krayt pearls...finding a krayt is hard enough, then you have the rarity of looting a pearl on top of that...
