Hello All, first please excuse the block prargraph as I can only seem to post using the html editor now for some reason, Anyhow I was sitting around with a ranger I met the other day while doing the Hero of Tat quest and looking for the Moisture farmer and we were discussing ranger and the profession. I explained to him that prior to becoming a jedi one of my Holos was Ranger and how much I really really liked being a ranger, it was a great treat for me to have that profession and it went well with swordsman. Unfortunalty I am the GM of a large Imperial PA on Ahazi and have to have a more viable PvP template on my main for base raids etc. and thus had to drop Ranger. But enough background on me this idea occurred to me while talking to this ranger: The Camping line is the Rangers savior and if they added something like this heres why: Camping I: Def Mods Against Turrents and towers while in the camp, Camping II: offense and defense mods against towers and turrents while in camp, Camping III: Same as 2 BUT you can add a faction scanner and mine field to the camp kit during creation and camp comes with that equipment. Camping IV: same as III But: you can add a small dish turrent (maybe camp resources will require 50 mines as well thereby limiting the capacity of the turrent to 50 shots, not too overpowering) Master Ranger: Camp kit enhancments: Mine field, Covert Faction scanner, Large Dish Turrent (100 mines limit?)ok I guess thats it and I hope you all like the idea, and if its been floated and I missed it please forgive I dont visit your boards often, just sometimes in hopes that I can pick up ranger again.
