Actually Bloodfin seems to be the home toa lot of rangers who proudly wear their titles. And quite a few of them wearing the master title. On bloodfin we seem to have all races covered as well. Don't know why we are so well represented. One reason might be because we also have some of the most expensive creature organics anywhere and we rangers clean up on them

I am helping a friend get wooley hide from Tat. I won't even go there wearing Master Ranger because of the constant tells.

One young man was rather incensed at the fees I asked for tracking the pirates - /addignore. Like I have nothing better to do than help him get thru the quest?

It doesn't matter where I fly into, I get tells.

However, wearing Novice Medic and working out of Mos Eisley, people think I am a n00b and leave me alone. Wonder where I can get one of those green droids?

Strange... I wear my Master Ranger tag on Tatooine all the time -- I'm searchable to boot --and I think I've only gotten three tells from people about hermit quests; I've helped all of them and have become good friends with each, as well.... Maybe it's just the population of the server. Camina, what about you?

But I think there are a lot of Rangers on our server -- at least we have a pretty strong community (thank Charls and Gelotri). Yeah, I bet a lot of the players with the "tracker" tags only have that tree and aren't working hunters or give a hoot about the community, but... we know who are friends are We don't need to worry about population counts.

I'd also place money on the fact that our numbers WILL explode come Tuesday, but that, fortunately, doesn't mean much for us -- save those of you who're apparently mauled by tells all the time. (Not me! Come to Shadowfire!!!:smileyvery-happy

Personally, I feel more heat when I see some TKM/Something/Novice Scout go out and harvest more than me, and thereby infringing on one of *my* roles in the galaxy.

But trust me on this: you guys need to come to Shadowfire!

I haven't tracked much as of yet, but got my fist tell to attempt to track a bull rancor baby. Guy was a MCH and gave 10k up front, but for the time it took to track tameable rancors down I could have made so much more money harvesting kaadu meat (want to get as much as I can before the spawn stops).
