Ok so im trolling around the search base when it works. I find some info thats VEDDDDY Iteresting. SCOUT ARMOR is in the game files that can be worn. Not stats and such. But It can be done!! I want it. If i get it I will love Jedi and spaceships.

Tactics over technical.
Age and wisdom can beat youth and enthusiasm anyday. Besides, the stats on both the Marine and Imperial armor suck, not worth the time and encumberance to wear them.
I think asking for the armor in the game guide forum or GCW forum would be more useful also...not flaming, just saying. You will find more support there than here.

not Uber, just smart. Uber is standing in one spot, buffed and armored and spamming specials. Smart is trapping, moving and shooting, and still winning withough the expense of buffs and armor.

I agree with you there, however have you seen the dev chat on stratics?
Well they said that factional armour is going to become very good, in line with high end comp to make it the prefered choice in PvP. If we could somehow get the scout versions of various armours that dont require you to be declared i think the stats on them would be very nice once the GCW revamp hits. And would also alow us to look sexay and different when raiding

I agree with JB to the point that relying on buffs and armor only makes the game a button masher and not much fun.
However, I mastered ranger and pistoleer without being buffed once... and those tactics of survival have kept me alive when i am buffed and armored to the teeth.
I think its silly how people go get buffed to kill bantha (esp if youre a master of a weap profession), I think its silly to wear uber armor to go kill kaadu.
However, buffs and armor on the corvette, dwb, geo caves... are essential in my opinion, especially if you choose to be melee.
Knowing the tactics of both combat situations will highly improve your gameplay and enjoyment, however, how you choose to play the game is cool with me.
(this is merely an opinion)
As for scout armor... I would love to see it ingame, that would be quite cool....

If you are a carbineer and keep having to wait for your action bar to fill back up and you are harvesting 100cpu meat translating to a million earned for each buff period then I personally think 990,000 is good enough too if that saves me a lot of irritation. Most of the time I get buffed because it speeds things up. I prefer getting from point A to B asap and if that makes the road to B a bit more boring so be it. If I want to enjoy turnbased and tactical combat I prefer to start up one of the X-Com episodes.

good point Washell...
I didnt clarify by saying "fun hunting"when i burst hunt, I buff up for convenience.. (and i know the pain of high ham costs being a pikeman myself)
I think that maybe my lack of specificity caused confusion...

from what I hear, a TKM with power boost should be able to go in unbuffed and unarmored for most creatures, so I looking forward to doing that. I try to balance buffing/armoring with doing missions i can handle. I did most of the unarmed lines doing newbie missions for 1k a pop since I figured I was startind a new proffession...I might as well do low-end missions to get it. There is little sillier than seeing a Novice Brawler with a full set of composite and buffs going to Dath to hunt high-level critters.
can't wait tilI can go back to not needing buffs unless I am getting large stacks of stuff. Yay powerboost.
