Thread: Rants and flames about the enhancements/revamp!!!!
I like alot of what they are proposing, just doesn't seem to fit into the context of the game.
1) Static traps in PvE = Less than useless. Needs good quality AOE traps for both humanoid & animal that can be thrown. I like the idea of static traps, but they should allow for both to be used (I mean, we get throwable creature traps, why not humanoid traps? Can I no longer throw a net or shoot a toxic dart?)
2) Stealth & Sneaking around = Good for roleplay & PvP (eg, PvP Ambushes etc), pritty poor for everything else (eg, I can walk past ya, but still got to engage in combat so the only bonus I get in PvP is walk up to a NPC's face & go "Nee ner!")
3) Stealing = Errr.. kinda feels like the wrong profession, I thought rangers are survivalists and trackers, not pick pockets..
Personally I just see the ranger proposals as dev ideas of 'what would be cool', rather than 'what would make a usefull & worthwhile profession'
