Hi, im a realtively new ranger but ive had it before and have had scout on all my characters since lauch. I have accumulated quite a few waypoints for various species and ten to hunt in certain areas on planets for certain species because the population is more abbundant on that particular part of the spawn table.
I was wondering if any rangers would be willing to share a good area for hunting malocks on dathomir. There is decent herb meat shift in atm and I would like to spend my time most efficiently in an area where malocks are easiest to find.
It would be really sweet if anyone knew an area where plainswalkers were dominant but ill settle for the small fries at this point!

It's pronounced matlock
. Seriously, malclocs seem to be common near the Science Outpost, and I have heard rumors of malkloc plainswalkers being common south of the Village.

Hehe the serious part of calcs post is right
The large Malc veriety are often found around the village. The other verieties can be found very easily by running around the science outpost in one direction. (note: running = effective spawn rate success)
hehe Matlock

www.swgcreatures.com keeps a user submitted listing of "sightings." I'm not sure if Malocks have a substantial number of listings, or if they're listed infact. It is a handy little site that I reference often when hunting or looking for a critter to /tame.

a few weeks back there was a great spawn of Herb meat on Dath so we were all out hunting / grinding when I came across a long channel south of the village. I was very happy to find 20+ naturally spawning Matlock lairs....
Got distracted by a perry mason lair though.
I highly recommend searching this area for a continous series of spawns.

I only hunt maalox when something I've eaten just ain't sittin' right. Shot of that usually does the trick.
Never, EVER buy tacos from a jawa. Trust me on this one.

I always find them around the science outpost.
Freaks me out every time. there I am hunting for brackasets, and all i can see (or track) are Malcloks.....
But then with Murphy's law and all you should consider hunting brackasets

Yeah ive actually developed a set of waypoints and it seems to follow a V shape with the right top starting at the aurillian village and i find the normal and plainswalkers about every 400m or so. I love the plainswalkers. Im a rifleman they are like butter!
