What do you think? Or has this already been brought up 10M times?

Actually more like 12M times I think
Though in the past the logic I've heard behind not allowing this is that it has the potential to make the cities empty and desolate....
which is what every city I am forced to stumble into appears to be anyway..

It has been brought up a lot, but it is still a great idea

Exactly. When was the last time you saw a crowd in Tyrena, Kor Vella, Deja Peak, Verni Island, etc. They want to talk about limit resources how about not populating these cities until some lost soul wanders into them. 90% of folks stay in/around Coronet, Theed, Moenia, and various Tat cities that seem to differ from server to server-and week to week it seems. Personally I've stopped taking terminal missions. I've got enough cash flow from previous resource sales the I just use those to cover my expenses until I get enough to sell again. Unless something changes drastically there is no reason to keep pushing the "To bring people into cities" line. I'm not anti-urban, well not totally, but give me a reason to come to a city other than 1) get TWO(2) mission waypoints 2) Get on a ship to go to another planet. Add a few more reasons then add a couple more reasons why I should visit cities other than the Capitals.

I would hate it. Just for tons of goobs running around in solo groups wanting you to pop a camp for them so they can get more of the uber 39k phat lewt missions. lol.
Giving Rangers mission interfaces without payout would be a good substitute tho.

yep - screw the payout - I would just like a mission terminal that I could plop down in the middle of some desolate area so I could run a few missions and jump start the spawns in that area (TH posted a while ago that running a few missions will get the spawns working again in an area).
But while we're on the subject, are the devs ever going to do anything about the solo-mission thing? I know a lot of people think that it's a way to make easy money, but it seems to have, at least in my opinion, a lot of negative side effects -- crafters have to compete with solo missions to get people to gather resources for them;since only a few planets have the missions with these high payouts, these planets suffer from the lag associated with an abnormally high-player load; solo-missions allow players to get lairs with more critters in them than they should normally be able to, further negating our tracking skills (why hunt for wild lairs when you can pull the equivalent from a solo mission).
I'm not so upset about creature handlers doing this - they give up a lot of skill points in order to have this perk, but as for the rest....
But maybe I've just been in an exceptionally grumpy mood lately.

As far as solo groups are concerned...I think the hope is that they will go away with the CU. There has been no talk specifically about solo groups, so that is only a guess.
