Thread: Mat Rags Hunter Trophy Quests

I did this yesterday and have to admit it was fun. Too bad it was so short. I was done in 30 minutes. I got the trophy.
I got some ideas after.
1) Give a badge for it.
2) More quest givers like this. (If you have anymore hunter type quest givers please give me the waypoint and planet)
3) Alot more trophies similiar to the Bol Skull.
I am just three boxes from Master Ranger again. I gotta say I loved this quest. I just wish there were more like it for us to do. If they ever do a revamp on us I hope they add alot more quests like this. Not just for rangers but other players as well.
Only problem is I have no house so I am carrying my trophy around with me.

Y'know what? I agree with you 100%
Sure you can go questing and become an uberleet jedi-ninja box stacking *edit* *edit* but it's sometimes the 'little' things in the game that mean most and give a bit of depth to your gaming experience.
I think Mat's was one of the first things I did in game as I heard a couple of scouts talking about this skull trophy and thought 'cool, I want one'. And BOY it was hard to do as a newbie everything. But it was FUN. Even going back and redoing it again recently as Master Ranger was fun, being able to use the hunting skills we have made it a completely different experience.
Definitely could do with one of these for each planet, for example. And yep, some sort of huntery type bio content.

Yeah, I'd love to see more of these type of quests (especially with ranger looking rewards, like trophies).
Here's a lesser known one on Rori: 5065, 5717
It's outside of Restuss. Talk to Lord Sloan Rusper
Unfortunately there's only two missions I think, and you get nothing except a tiny amount of naboo faction. But he's a legendary ranger/hunter type, similar to Matt Rags, and you're asked to kill creatures (although low level). It's mainly just something for emersion, rather than reward.
