I know that some people won't agree but I wouuld like to see making area track macroable for a specific thing. This would just lessen the # of clicks to track something. Would not take away form the profession in my opinon. The commands could be
1. /areanpc
2. /areacreature
3. /areapc
What do you all think.
Owen how about for revamp?

The title of your post scared me at first, but then I read the content and you weren't making trouble.
I think it's a good idea. Simple little thing to make things easier. At the same time though, I'm not crushed if it doesn't happen and, IMHO, I may actually be irked a bit of the Dev focus on this rather than some of the other possible fixes/bugs.

i think this would be very convenient....especially when tracking players for pvp activities. while i don't necessarily agree that you could combine all three in one macro, being able to do each one individually without having to pull up the little 'animals/people/players' screen would be great.

I mean each one to be seperate and distict. I suppose if they made this change you could do something like
/areaanimal;
/areapc;
/areanpc;
But that would be time consuming for animation and cause the list to dissapear also as it goes away each time I do a track not like I can tile all three.

whew... I thought I was going to have to invoke the JBMat Resurrection Ritual there, but, yup, that's a blimmin' sensible suggestion.

To me this sounds like an issue, therefore me, calc and JB will aim for pre-revamp implementation.
Cant say if it will or wont but its most definatly within the scope of theaddressing issues and bugs mentality the devs have adopted lately.

Me? I almost had a coronary.
Ok, this is a good idea.
but it would be /ar(whatever)
/ar is the shortcut command for areatrack. In case y'all didn't know.

It would be a decent idea for those times when you know you are only going to be tracking 1 kind of thing for a long period of time.
However it would still be a hassle because you would have to keep switching toolbar slots out (every time you hunted something different), or use 3 total slots (waste of toolbar space)
