I was just reading through the thread on these rewards and wondered what you lot thought of the 30k resource stack. Will this have a negative impact on people that make their money from selling resources - us, scouts, surveyors? Or do you think it won't really have to much of an effect on things?

I could see it lessening demand quite a bit if a lot of people that qualify for it choose it and sell off the stack for a quick profit. I don't think they have said whether or not the stack will be tradable, so at the moment I assume it is.

Just curious to hear your thoughts...

As a one time deal i dont have too many issues with it. Sure it will take some money away from us, but i expect the architects and artisans could be upset that they didnt get minitures as craftables etc.

I supose i have neutral fealings on it. Not everyone will get the resource stack reward, if they do they can only get it once.

Yeah if you take that as your one time item there is something that you are missing about the rewards. Since no resource is worth grabbing only 30k of ANY material. Well except maybe horn

I think most of us will getting miniatures for our homes

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I dunno about that, say some amazing Avian spawned and you used the 30k resource stack reward, if docs were still paying say 250cpu for it then that would be 7,500,000 in the pocket for no effort.

I'm probably just being a tad paranoid really though.

have they said if it's a current resource, or any spawn? I've heard people asking.

30k is less than 2 factory runs. (16k of meat I think is the current max factory run)

Doing some rudimentary math... and knowing SOE... and taking into account the recyclers....

What will someone get the 30k is 200 across the board grind stuff??

I am not worried. Of course, I still have 30k of primo meat stored at my house. Stuff that did sell for 250cpu and will sell for more in 6 months...heh heh heh

If i'm correct, the 30k stack is your choice of any resource that is spawning at the time you choose to use your 'ticket' which you get once you claim the reward. So you get exactly what you want, not just shoddy random stuff.

That's if i'm correct..

What about Dant avian meat?!

This is a non-issue when you consider that AFK you can get 100k of talusian avian (dont 1 star me this is a reference to another post). I cant really see how this will hurt anyone. It would be a waste of a use of the rewards system
