If you're looking for the pirate, you're looking for a 0/0/3/0 ranger. NPC tracking comes with TRACKING III.
Thank You. Please come again.

That was suposed to funny ya'll. And to vent my "some one just paid me way to much money to find the pirate now that I'm a Master Ranger, when I could have used the money much more when I was a 0/0/3/0. Really don't you get sick of seeing the "Looking for a Master Ranger to find the Pirate!" spam, when its the younger rangers that really need, and are more willing to do that kind of work?
And I'll andmit I lied a few times and said I was a master when I wasn't just to grab some tracking work. I always got the job done and never took jobs I wasn't very sure I could pull off.
I guess my point is we do know this, and for the sake of our own mental stability and to help the not yet Masters, we need to make sure every one else knows this.

Not to be rude, but we don't need more people asking us to track for them. Especially on the forums. The more people that know, the more requests we'll get on the forums. That, I don't want.

The BDE SGM, the real HMFIC, had me on the duty roster as Bde SDNCO. An MP called and said CID had a PFC who said he was TDY charged with DUI and HUA. They caught him someplace in BFE. I called PAC and found he wasn't TDY, but was AWOL. Unde the UCMJ it was Art 86. The BDE Cdr gave him an Art 15 and busted him to E1 and ED for 45 days. Coulda been a SPCM with a BCD he was looking at, he got off light.
Who said acronyms??
And if you know what an RTO, a pig, a LAW, a TOW, and a T10 are... come talk.

Translation - the brigade sergeant major, the real head mo fo in charge, had me on duty as the the brigade staff duty non commissioned officer. A military policeman called and said Criminal Investigation Division had a private first class who said he was on temporary duty charged with driving under the influence and having his head up his azz. The caught him in the middle of nowhere (that is not getting translated or i get banned). The brigade commander gave him an article 15 (non-judicial punishment) and reduced him to Private and gave him extra duty for 45 days. Coulda been a special court-martial with a bad conduct discharge he was looking at...

I just found the pirates yesterday on Intrepid. First time, and in my experience area track did not come in handy at all. I found them by noticing the 2 red/yellow and 1 red/red pattern on the radar. And after i finished the mark of honor, i came back to the same spot and still couldn't area track them from a distance of 200m. But when i got close enough again so that they just were within range of my 128m radar, they popped back up and only then were trackable, not that that does any good. Again, this is the first and only time i've found them, so maybe it works some other times.
And BTW, when i found the bladeback boar i posted it on the forums for free (after checking to see if any guildies needed it). This time with the pirates i again posted the info on the boards saying that i'd trade the info some sort of cool loot, posters or whatever, nothing extravagent. Just a little bonus for my time and patience in finding them. Noone responded, even hours later and the pirates were still there, noone responded. Maybe there isn't any demand for this info after all.

OK, I've got one toon I'm even bothering to put through the Hero thing. He's my Master Ranger, so he's like super well equipped to do the job.. yeah?
HAH! Nope. Got half the quest sdone, have seen neither hide not hair of moisture farmers and pirate leaders in that char.
During the last frog weekend I logged out somewhere in the wild, when I got back in next day I heard the combat music as I loaded, thought, oh, am going to log in just in time to clone... but NO! There's my unbuffed, unarmoured toon slugging it out with the Pirate Leader and his two dead mates. Mr P is already crying htat's he's had enough and I've to stop hitting him. Darnit.
Ah well.
SO! Couple of days ago I am placing a house on Tat. Clear a couple of lairs, pick somewhere out of the way. I'm in overhead mode when something big runs past me. It runs back. It runs this way and that. I cancel placing the house and find am face to face with that danged Boar! I shoo it off and wander away to place my house elsewhere.
Early hours of this morning I manage to log into TC-Bria. It's deserted. Nothing works yet and ther's no froggies. Well, they've changed the physics or somesuch to do with terrain, so I load my butt into one of those hairdressers speeders and go screeching out over the dunes to see how my memory usage is being affected...
and there's the fricking Moisture Farmer. Wandering the desert, slap dang where he is meant to be, giving it the big "woe is me, I've lost my family..."
But could I find ANY of them with my Ranger today? HAHAHAHAA hahaHAh!
