Thread: Whew! That was danged fun!!!

Well.... I don't know if it is a big or small accomplishment, but I took on an Enraged Kimo today and won, Ranger Style - no buffs (except foods) and no armor. First time I've done it, and it was awesome! Anyway, off to bed for me now.

I was gonna post this yesterday.. and now it seems moot anyway, but last night I killed a Black Sun Guardusing onlydrink and guile, all thanks to the inspiration of this forum. I haven't used buffs or armour for over a month and for me this was a pretty huge accomplishment.
So thank you for showing me the light.
And to think I used to buff to kill Quenkers.... /shame
And well done Ki'ara... guess I'm off to Lok then!

You're thinking like a Ranger. The real Rangers on here can tell you thirty different ways to approach a situation and be successful. Good show! Keep it up.

I wish I could fight/hunt unbuffed against more advanced creatures. Being a TKM is too much of a HAM drain to fight more than 1 advanced creature unbuffed. 
If I didn't enjoy TKM (The one profession I had decided on before the game was even released) I'd try something with a little less HAM consumption.
I've been a Master Rifleman, but got a little sick of being the spank child of melee mobs, so went back to TKM. Who knows, maybe after the CURB, I'll give Rifleman another shot.

Akron,
As a master fenceri was able to do socials of up to 9k HAM with the foods i talked about in my thread (which i'll go bump). As a TKM i would fiqure that i could do that or higher since you can do apowerboost in TKM. The hard part is that in Fencer your using a weapon thats AP1 with very low HAM costs. Where with TKM your looking at a weapon that has some high ham costs due to speed.
Conceal shot is pretty strong but i'll take my speed as a melee'er over there ability to be patient and knock out higher level targets
