Ranger Archive

I had to bow out of ranger temporarily to help my guild by switching to shipwright for awhile. But once the whole JTL thing died down I immediately headed to the nearest trainer and got started again. This is the third time I have gone up the ranger tree. While its even easier in some areas (trapping and harvesting) one part is still a big pain (camping). One box left to go til master ranger.

One very interesting thing for me was when I got Tracking IV. I put up my favorite title (Tracker) and within 30 minutes got multiple messages with the ever popular question "Are you a tracker?". I know with the way titles work some people with the title might not be one. But still makes me wish a new loot would be added. the "Stupid Sign" that we could dump on any player that asks that question. LMAO.

One guy, a Jedi going through the trials, messaged me first. "Hey man are you a tracker?" I told him I was. He asked me if I could track the graul maruader for him. I added him to my friend's list. Then I answered"I cant at the momentcuz I am tracking you for a BH group. But after that I am free." Sadly he went offline. Hmm maybe I need to work on my negociation skills.

True Story

This happened my second time as a ranger.

I am on Tatooine sitting on a hill watching a Giant Krayt. I get a tell from a jedi looking for one. I dont want to be disturbed but he keeps bugging me. So I decide I will make a huge price and he will go elsewhere. I tell him I can find a giant krayt for 1 million. With in seconds I get the bank email and now have 1 million credits. Not wanting to welch I send him the waypoint. He says he will be out there in a few minutes.

Before I can think to get up and look for more bantha I get a tell from a BH looking for a jedi track. No lie here, he tells me the jedi's name and its the guy coming for the krayt. So I tell him the same. ! million. With in moments I get it in my bank. I then send him the waypoint. In retrospect I guess I should have told him about the krayt also but hey what the heck.

A few minutes later the jedi is fighting the krayt and along comes the BH. He fights the jedi and kills him thanks to the krayt then the krayt kills the BH. Later the BH sent a message about I was a sly one and awesome. The jedi sent a few tells but they werent bad perse. More like I shouldnt have done that but fun still.

2 million credits and a floor show. And not once did I move from that spot.
