Okay, I just read about the changes to ranger and it sounds like a lot of people are complaining about them. From my perspective however, these are great changes and I am now going for master ranger. I will explain why.

The problem is, endor is in bad shape right now. I think everyone, at some point in their careers, goes to Endor and takes a mission to see how hard they are. Seeing as how they are very difficult the missions stick around. So, if I am to go to Endor to do missions I am unable to get to my mission because I have to run through 100s of unfinishde lairs (most creatures on Endor are red aggro). Normally, mask scent would be good. However, if I am not mistaken, Ewoks and all their cousins are classified as NPCs. And you can spawn them as missions so they are all over the place. Many of the Ewok cousins are red aggro. So, I need something to use against NPCs.

Let's take a few assumptions.
A) I purchase all my resources off the bazaar at 5c/r
B) I use 1 camo kit per mission
C) I only take missions worth over 20,000 credits
D) I make my kits with 4 uses (I hear range is 2-8, so average)
E) I am in a group of 4 people doing mission runs

So, I buy resources for 550c (110*5). I make myself a camo kit with 4 uses. So each kit covers one full group. Each mission gets me 5kc (split between group members). So for 550c I made 5kc.

Say you aren't high enough level to do Endor, let's take Dantooine as example then. For about the same price per kit, missions only yield 13,000 credits. So, for under 500c I have just made over 3000c.

If I was smart though, I would hunt my own resources except for the flora which I would find a supplier for and I would buy them in bulk.

I really do not think the prices on camo kits are outrageous, especially since you can apply them to party members. I am taking up ranger just for the camo kits.
