This was listed in the update notes for rangers, and I was wondering whether anyone has used this? Comments?

I believe that was a typo, only meant to go under the Smuggler notes.

I was wondering about that. That would be kind of a nice perk,yet arguably out of place for rangers. But then again, we've all heard the advice to play dead if you ever encounter a bear in the woods. So I figured I'd ask.

Just tried /feigndeath in-game, said I didn't have sufficient abilities, though I am not a Master Ranger. Probably a typo.

I agree - I think this was a typo. It should've just been under smuggler.
