Wow, I've noticed that aggresives can see you from a much larger distance now. Too bad conceal doesn't work for more than 3 or 4 creatures.

Yeah, I noticed this as well.

I was just aggroed by a cannibal dewback from 70m away... and he warped through a rocky field to jump on top of me in less than a second! Luckily I got off a warning shot just in time, but this can be REALLY bad for us riflemen when we are trying to crawl up on targets for a good shot!

Basically it seems that if you can see them, they can see you. Heh, perhaps conceal really is working, but seems not too just because the animals are much better at seeing stuff. I had an entire nest of d vrelts aggro me at once while i was minding my own business!

Well, my experience today is this....mask scent at Wayfaring 4 is as good as mask scent at novice scout. I cant get within 10m of red before it agros, even when prone. The main reason I got wayfaring 4 was to help in taming agressive creatures. Now I can get within 70m and not get agro. If this is an attempt to force me to use conceal, I'll drop Ranger all together. I like the premise behind conceal, but with the recent drop in harvest goods, it doesnt make sense for me to go all out and make camo kits. Not to mention having to get a flora harvestor out to planets ahead of time to get wood, etc, which requires me to have survey...more skill points gone that I dont have. And buy reasource? I think not.. as many as I'd use a day at 5 to 10 cpu, I'd be broke before I got started.

If its any consolation - conceal is no more effective than maskscent right now.

- That might be lag mind you. Cannibal Dewbacks are stalkers and might have moved up on you before the client refreshed to show his movement.

- Now THAT is annoying. I hate having to chase Ranged NPCs that warp through walls.

Or how about running away from a creature with now ranged attacks, being 20 m away and getting hit all the same, my ping was 50 and no packet loss, now THAT was annoying
