Thread: Holocron craze = Better hunting!
I, for one, am not taking part in Holocron hunting for myself. 'Why?' you say. Well, the regular hunting is just too good right now. With everyone camping FS NPC spots and the such competition for great hunts is next to nill. I can take great missions on Tat, Naboo or Lok and am virtually guaranteed my entire quarry will be there when I arrive. I can even explore further out from mission terminals and find a plethora of wildlife lairs all around.
Hide, meat and bone prices also seem to be rising. With fewer people harvesting, the market will soon be demanding higher prices for our goods and services.
Another reason I'm not participating in the craze is I like my character 'as is.' I will not become a Master Image Designer. Ever. ![]()
So I say 'cheers' to those on their Jedi quests. May your fortunes be as good as ours are now.
It's not so good when you have the city of an opposing faction right next to the krayt graveyard (*cough* Revan's Fist *cough*).
Yarr, Tannen needs a krayt LVA...
I agree. The hunting is pretty good right now. I also like the template that I'm working on - Master Ranger already and half-way through Pistoleer (hopefully some things there will be fixed by the time I make Master). One of my good friends is grinding through Image Designer right now and I helped him out a little bit last Saturday...that was enough of that for me!
One thing that I'm doing, though since I'm Imperial, is taking Large Rebel Base missions for the Surface Marshall kills. I don't want the holocron that drops for myself, but I do want the couple million credits I can get for it! Once that's done (I hope pretty soon), I can get back to hunting creatures. Man, I love areatrack for finding the more lucrative spawns. I just wish they didn't disappear quite so much once I get to the spot they were "supposed" to be at.
Anyway, I love being a Ranger. Plus, the small town that I pull out of my backpack (the HTFB) always impresses those who haven't seen one before. Hehe.
