Thread: What level Creature Knowledge do you need to get a Creatures CL?

Just wondering since I'm master Bio Engineer and thinking about lowering my gun skills for more scouting skills. Its allways handy to know what level a creature is before sticking a syringe into it for that DNA sample.

Hmmm... I believe it is Master Scout that provides that information.

Yes, that is correct. Master Scout.
Tracking II and III is very helpful for a handler in that they show Special 1 and Special 2 respectively, the tracking abilities are useful for finding babies and you get a slightly larger harvest (either to sell, use for traps/camps or give to crafter friends).

Of course finding babies isn't a big sell to a BE... You can use tracking to find rare or powerful adults, too.
