It's nice when people listen to your advice.
I took afew CL30-60 folks out hunting the other day and they actually listened to me. Maybe it was the fact that staring atCL75-80 desert squills and cannibal dewbackscowered them into listening but I'd prefer to think it was because of my Master Ranger title.
They set up where I asked them to around the lairs, did not attack untilI was sure I had aggro on the creature and actually let me pull one at a time for them to pound on. All of them gained a few combat levels, and in the two hours not one was incapacitated. Heck, even helped one guy in the group find that annoying boar and he was elated when I refused payment. For a change it was fun to be a ranger in a group rather than be the tag-along in a group of CL80 that just bumrush everything.

It's a great experience when a group listens and follows the Ranger. I've had this same thing happen. The combat doesn't move fast enough for some folks, but the newer players really appreciate it.

Why is it that the tactically astute players tend to be rangers?

... but too bad being a ranger doesn't automatically make you tactically astute ...
/thinks Tazz must not remember all those times I got us all killed
What's it mean when it says "you have reached your current limit for clonings. Dieing again will cause your skills to be reset to default"?

Well, those were the times when you allowed your inner J3d3y3 to take over, Pida.

That is because weenjoy actuallyusing our inate abilities to huntthe critters, instead of just killing them. Anyone out there can kill, but how many of them can do it without taking damage? As I have said before, if I get hit, it is because I screwed up.
