The high damage is fun, crawling about is....ok, but not great.

Being able to outdamage all other group members is fun, just as long as there is a good healer in the group

Being able to solo content that otherwise would be impossible (using conceal shot or for that matter any special while prone).

Or is the question less about the rifles side, and more about the ranger side?

I can't possibly know why YOU have that template. I, on the other hand, have that template for several reasons.


Such as, it's alliterative. The other templates + Ranger simply do not have the right flow to them.


And also, because of all the templates I have tried, Rifle does the best when coupled with Ranger, in fact I daresay it's made for Ranger. Stealth + stealth = win win. Or dead dead, but at least I've left a sexy corpse.


As for the Ranger side, my god who wants to be uber anyway. How boring. If you want heads to turn when you walk into town, try running around with a Ranger title.


Chicks dig Rangers. Well that's what the guys keep telling me. Personally I think it's the camo pants but meh who knows.


And lastly, Rangers have the really big....

Rifles/Rangers is a good template if you're a Ranger 1st, who's looking to tack on a combat profession. If you're a rifleman first and looking to tack on a profession to help you hunt and make money, switch to bounty Hunter. Trust me.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

i picked mranger/mrifles b/c i thought it was a great combo...i just thought there would be more of a call for one considering their aren't many of us around
