Ranger Archive

I respec'd to ranger a few months back, then ended up dropping ranger, but I miss it, so I've decided to grind it out again.

I'm not going ranger / rifles, basically because I hated rifles.

What is a good combo to go with ranger? I cant decide...

are there such things as ranger / be's?

Well, you certainly have enough points to do it. Master Ranger, Master BE in my book comes to CL60 with 18 points left over. Basically, you could get novice brawler or marksman and 1 box.

But it would damned hard, if you ask me. With out the punch of a combat profession, experience would be a long ride to the top solo - you'd have to work a lot on mask scent and harvesting in group hunts. Also, if a critter turns cranky trying to sample it, you'd be fairly easily incapped. Trapping would be a baznitch as you'd incur the wrath of anything you hurl a trap at.

Still, you'd be able to use a level 54 weapon, I'm sure you could stagger your combat up and down as you worked your way up, taking your combat down and down as ranger and BE went up and up and it *is* technically possible to master both. Maybe master ranger/rifles and take rifles down as BE comes up.
