Thread: What do you charge for resources?
Most of the time if its a Contract the buyer will give me a price. Usually 5-10CPU for mediocre stuff.
I tend to charge 2-3CPU for junk stuff on my vendors
and anywhere from 10-50CPU for excellent resources ( also requires a high demand ).
Every server is different of course and I also make my prices higer if its something that is a pain to get say like Tattoine Avian meat. Kinda one of those things you have to learn what the market is.
Charge what ever you think time collecting it is worth to you.
This is a game, and we all play to have fun. So when you find a resource type less fun to hunt for make sure you charge more. That way it will at least provide you with some credit to do other stuff, that you do find fun.
I harvest Herb Meat fordoctor friend of mine and in exchange he gives me some stim-d's or whatever the ones with 1k plus healing per charge.
I like to run my business and sell stuff through a barter system. I'll exchange weapons i've bought for things others have bought for diff profs etc. I like to barter and trade rather then stock up hordes of credits
Subsequently I have lots of stuff and not lots of credits
But its more fun for me this way
Junk stuff I harvested while out killing things anyway. 2cpu. Break it into 1k, 5k and 10k stacks and bung it on the bazaar. If it sells it sells. If it doesn't, well, I'll pick it up when am passing maybe.
Nice stuff I harvested while out killing things anyway. 5-10cpu per stat over 900. Bung it on the bazaar, stick it on my vendor. I'll probably collect this stuff if it does't sell.
REALLY good stuff, with the right stats away up in the high high 900's? Well, depending if I like you, or need something, i'll maybe give it to you in exchange for meds, weapons, armour. Or I'll sell it for whatever you're asking if I happen to see something on the auction channel / trade forum.
"That stuff". This covers Tat avian, Rori avian, and all those other PIA resources. Offer me 500cpu and am STILL not going out for it.
