Thread: Post CU Question, all help is greatly appreciated

I had to take a leave of absence from the game to move cross country/find a new home/get settled about a month before the CU. I had just switched to working my TKM to be a Master Ranger too. I was excited about this. Well, I just came back today and really find that TKM is not the way to go for Master Ranger. I know that it is possible, but alot of the time I need to be able to be more effective solo to hunt while my fiance is at work. Though we do most of our hunting together. Anyway, Ive been reading about Master Ranger / Master BH / and some in SL. Here is my main question . . . Ive never known anything about BH, Im not into PvP at all, so no BH vs. Jedi things for me, but I need Marksman 0/0/0/4 for BH. If I Master BH without doing any other marksman trees, will I get a wep certification to be able to hunt the creatures? What kind of Wep will I get if I do? Also, if I have added it up right, I would be able to do 3 boxes in SL, what boxes should I do? Thank you for any help

You will be certed for 3 weapons, the LLC, the Scatter and the Czerka dart pistol.
However, a lot of weapons have been changed from certifications to combat level.. for example, i can use a jawa ion rifle effectively, or my FWG5, or a host of other weapons.
You will have more ranges of damage types and a better array of weapons as well.
plus, if you take squad leader 0300, you will get a good boost to melee defense, plus volley fire, sys message, and 1 other, i forgot...
the 0300 in SL will actually get you MORE melee/ ranged defense than will the FS lines... so i dumped 'em.

oh.. and i dont do much pvp either, but having the option to hunt jedi with my friends is quite fun.

Yes thats a good combo, and ieven if you dont hunt jedi, its still cool to use the seeker droids..makes you the ultimate tracker.
