Thread: Are The Antarian Rangers Still Around?

AR is alive and kicking on Chilastra :-)
We have about 20 or members (bout 10 full time, 10 part time), abd at one time boasted the largest # of Master Rangers in a single guild on all servers.
Post-CU we have diversified our templates, accepting members of any profession that branches off of Scout ,so we have a rounded group now of Master Rangers, Squad Leaders, Combat Medics, Bio Engineers, CHs, and Bounty Hunters. (we thik that diversified mix suites the Antarian Ranger model quite well)
We also have a large collection of crafter alts, and are supplying bulk creature resources, traps and camo kits to the community at large via vendors in our guild halls located on various planets (under the Antarian Outfitter label)
We are still very much outdoorsy but we have a strong streak of paramilitary activity to match

I may actually be the only AR left on Gorath. Plunk had started a chapter but had to leave for a bit. Let me know if there are others on Gorath.

We had a lot of losses due to the CU.
OMG HALDAN! i didnt know u came back?!? I just came back about a month or so ago from WoW as well, but ended up doing a server swap to Radiant, i am glad to see you are back and i miss all of my fellow Antarian Rangers as well, i have currently dropped my master ranger due to lack of playability (a very sad thing to say but it is the truth in my own opinion) and have taken up bounty hunter, glad to see an origional old skool man such as yourself is back, hope you see this post. later buddy

The Kauri chapter (located on Tatooine) is still going strong; just added two members this week. Kimi as stepped down in favor of Cataliv (alt: Jaalt) as Guildmaster recently.

Sen (the wife) and I started playing again about two weeks ago. Nostalgia + Revenge of the Sith + We being Star Wars nerds = Had to check out SWG again. Nice to be remembered! Glad to hear you're doing well over there.
I dropped Ranger as well (MMarks/MBH/MCarb's here) - but I like some of the ideas I've read for improving Rangers (although I wonder how many folks still around remember that Rangers got a makeover once already) - so if something good happened there, I still have my token respec.
