Ranger Archive

I left a while ago, I was going to go ranger/ranged, but then i read that ranger did not gain any CL for going up in boxes, is this still the case or is ranger now a viable template to still use if you plan on big game hunting and PvP? (even though i wont get a ton of pvp bonus, i just want to make sure im equal in CL)
