Thread: is mask scent and other hiding skills messed up?

Im ranger 0040 and master rifles. I just spent an hour on endor and i would mask scent, /cover and /concealshot. Not once. NOT once was I not discovered. I was hunting creatures even or lower level than me. What is the deal here?
Granted I'm only CL70 because it apears that CH and ranger don't count for much. But to make it worse I respec'd out of CH0043 to Pistol0003 and dropped to CL66 for full template! ah!!!!
This is maddening!

I am CL 80. I was CL 76 without Master Creature Handler. That's all I can remember.
Regarding the second question, check to see if they are stalker type. It is my firm belief that any creature with "Stalker - yes" does not consider camoflauge or mask scent at all.
They should never break against a creature lower than your CL. I will say this again: I was attacked by a CL 10 Giant Gubbur while camoflauged on Corellia. It broke the camo at the same time as it attacked me.
