Last night I finally did it- I was forced to go into deep space to grind space loot, kill the same Nova Coruier at least 18 times to get it to stop trying to save the vette, and generally cry my arse off when I opened my my inventory and found 18 thousand credits.

What can bring you to such a low?

It started with the RIS. Feeling pretty big, I decided it was time for me to get myself a suit. So, ignoring the 30 cpu contract out at the time, I rushed off to kill gurks, woolamanders and Kimogillas in mass, hoping to find the necessary parts myself and thus reduce the cost of the product (hey, I was rich but I still had the mind to keep some of my credits).

I spend five days hunting these animals, most of which is spent getting sunburned on Lok just looking for the Kimos. But finally, finally I have my RIS. I look pretty good strutting around Kashyyyk in my full suit, but perhaps that was the worst place to go- between Necrosis, giant spiders, multitudes of moufs and the strain collecting luriss mushrooms would put on such a suit, the pieces, especially the leggings, were wearing down fast. I simply could nto stand it.

So, that's hwere the rest of my 7 million went. Into the ADK. Hey, I figured there would be another 35-30 cpu out anytime.

Wrong. The best resource since then has brought in tops 10 cpu. And that was near the beginning, when I was still thinking I was mighty tough in my RIS and was holding out for a good contract.

So I get down to less and less cash as I sink more and more into my weaponsmith alt, who has yet to produce a single combat-effective weapon. I get down to around 60k. Knowing nothing will bring me back now, I go back to my old habit of gambling. weather on broken slots, the Jubilee wheel, or maybe just 20k grab bags full of crappy resources, I proceed to gamble nearly all of my remaining cash away ina single night of depressed stupor.

Finally, I manage to get an Illegal Booster Core in deep space. it should fetch at least a million credits- which should be enough to get Nandos Nagick into a good melee weapon business for the bazaar, which should give me enough cash to get into a good weapon production for my vendors.

Which should get me enough cash to ADK my helmet.

Congrats on the RIS.

And just remember that 10cpu makes it fairly easy to get a mil right now. A 100k stack of resources is not all that hard to get (especially in a group). And I see that Dant Carn meat is already over 10cpu right now on Eclipse. Probably not enough to get you an ADK but it should be enough to get you started.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I suggest doing quests for money.

I also suggest cross server transactions. Creature another character on another server, and rent out their lots. Then do cross server credit trades.

Or, space loot. It brings in good credits if you go against a lot of low-level guys (Tier 3) instead of one tough ship.

Double what Bio said. Just find a spot you can grind in for Tier 3 's and Tier 4's, and you get decent credits AND a bunch of looted parts that you can sell quick 'n dirty. And every once in a while, you nab a decent part for RE or to put in you ship. Fun times!

Hehe, well, I used to grind space loot all the time. then... I founded a JTL orientedguild and helped people on hundreds of missions and did bajillions of XP runs. It really burned me out with space, I am still kinda recovering.

However the booster core I got in deep space is on the trade forum right now with a high bid of 2 million, so I may go back and do that again.It was my first time in DS even and I still gotgood loot anda few player kills.Plus, I dont want to admit it, but I get this sadistic pleasure when I kill rebels trying to buzz the ISD. Even in such a large target as the Krayt I havent gotten hit yet, and oh boy, the thrill of that missile lock... I just get shivers of exhilerationthinking about it

I am selling hide - all stats 200 run thru the whatchamacallit resource thingy - and have been making money hand over fist - at 1 cpu.

How you may ask? One word - Group.

I go to Dantooine. I find a hunting group. I go out and kill 16 missions of bols or pickets or whatever...usually bols but I like pickets. I get a decent though not great payout for the missions. But the harvest is insane - like 500 units plus per kill. The other day I had 300k of freaking hide in my pack. Never have I had this much stuff.

And to think, the evil Imperial Ranger - Karimicu's - is selling to the same tailor (a mutual friend) for 10 cpu. Alas, I still have more money (I think).

Just got to make lemonade outta lemons. Poopy on the contract stuff - I made 2 more boxes of FS in one day, like 2 hours (a level 4 and a level 2).

I just wish that the agitator motor was able to be made. It is still bugged and I really could use the creature recycler. I have buttloads of reasources but all from different creatures and different stats.

But none of the quantity that someone is willing to buy. So Im just hoarding it till I become a merchant or something that can use it.

I'm glad to see that auction went well though.

For some reason I haven't had to worry about money since my bank account hit 1 mil when I was paid 500k for a tracking mission. I'm nearly at 8 mil right now...I just don't know what to spend it on

I've been making my creds selling mainly gorax bone shards. In the last 30 days I've made about 36mil. Not too shabby I'd say.
