The Jedi NPCs cloak too?
The answer's still yes, if they are in-world and within 500m we can track them.

I was able to track a cloaked player Jedi also, but he was in my group so maybe that had an impact.

We're able to track CSRs when they're invisible too, aren't we? I could have sworn I read that a few months back.

Oops, missed the NPC part (reading comprehension ftw!). I'm pretty sure the npc jedis do not cloak.
Back when they were dropping +25 SEA's, tracking them was a very lucrative business (I got 5 million per waypoint). However, I never let on that they don't actually spawn until you make them spawn by driving around - so areatrack was pretty useless and anyone (non-ranger) could have had the same success finding them as I did.

Nope, you can always track cloaked jedis, as it should be. I live right near the Rori rebel outpost and I routinely check for cloaked jedis waiting to gank people going SF.

We used to be able to - I once got the exceptional bio badge and I did areatrack and the CSR was standing 4m from me invisible. I haven't seen another CSR on areatrack since then, but, then again, I haven't really been looking that hard.
