Well, I have had the ability for ages now but I just hadn't found the time to get the flora components. Today i finally did it. Aside from the obvious trouble that was caused by the flora components, these things are great. I made about 50 of them in my factory and tested them out on a few of my friends. Mine are lasting 10+ minutes, when surrounded by red creatures and NPCs, and I am getting 6 charges for each pack. They are at 59% effectiveness. How are these comparing with yours? So far I am hearing that mine are very good. Anyway, I just wanted to commend the DEVs on this cool idea. I am finding it useful and my friends are enjoying it to. The new things that have been added give alot of encouragement for rangers to group.

I also was using my tracking ability to help my hunting party at the krayt garveyard today. We must have killed near 20 krayts atleast and it was alot easier due to the traps and tracking abilities that come with ranger. Now, if only I could find those wild oats on Tatooine...

Yeah, mine have 6 charges, they last about 16 minutes, and they have about 59% effectiveness with a 80% chance to provoke attack on a failed check... and I am a Master Ranger.

I dont know what skill you're on in the Wayfaring line, but for a Master Ranger those numbers are seriously disappointing.

You may notice that your maskscent and conceal abilities lose effectiveness as you progress up the Ranger path.

You may also notice that conceal absolutely does not work on some NPC factions, it doesn't even check against them.

Just be prepared to lose effectiveness when you attain your next Wayfaring skill, that seems to be an all too common experiance around here.

I might even suggest that, if you find that it works for you now, hold off on raising the line any higher. Tracking is working nicely now and may be more benificial to you until they can get around to bringing conceal up to its promised effectiveness.

Bah, they work like hell! if anything detects you at master your basically screwed, 65m and and they hunt you down.

Anyways, i had Master before the new settings so i don't know how it is when Novice and useing Kits, maybe it's better down there, wierd. Always good to know

Thanks for the tips. Currently I have wayfarring 3 and it works well. I'm disapointed to hear that they actually get worse.

"and the only options it gives me is examine and destroy"

You must use the /conceal command and it will then use the kit.

How can you make them work? I just made a few, and the only options it gives me is examine and destroy... nothing else. Do you add them to something??? Maybe this is a bug or something.

HELP!
