Thread: HTFB so pretty, so useless
I'll make this quick:
If I could take a HTFB and put it in my house, I would. It's so pretty and neat-o. That is all that it is worth, in my opinion. The following would be available to Master Ranger ONLY.
Things that need to happen:
- HTFB needs to repel creatures.
- Needs to allow BF healing (if I put one of these up, I am grouped, so there is your little social-need that is soooo important)
- Rain needs to NOT come through the roof. It doesn's in other structures.
- Needs a temp-cloning station. (this would potentially make them more expensive to craft, but well, well worth it)
- THEY NEED TO STAY UP!!!! In battle, walking away. In it's title is the word: BASE. Which I took to mean a base of operations. A place where you can go back to to heal, craft etc., then move out again. But a place you could come back to. This could easily be solved by a timer. 20 minute timer starts when camp is not occupied, if someone comes back then the timer stops and is reset when someone leaves. Timer reaches 20 minutes, the camp *poof* dissapears.
I know there are a lot of lists, but these are the things that I would want or make me angry. THEN this eyecandy of a camp would be worthwhile, not just to set up so people are WOWED.
- Needs a temp-cloning station. (this would potentially make them more expensive to craft, but well, well worth it)
Hmm, that'd make it worth having a Ranger around. What hunting party would go out without a Master Ranger? And since Sony needs something other than mere player satisfaction to get them to do something, they could make it a money sink as well: Resources + 10k to craft (5 guys kick in 2k each) plus, say, 5k to store data.
But I'll bet the docs and CM would scream.
Some simple things I noticed tonight upon making my first HTFB.
First, it has less seating than a field base. Secondly, I think it would be awesome if that round checkerboard table allowed you to play backgammon or blackjack... how cool would that be for folks to kill time while healing?
BF healing is a huge request I hear all the time from visitors. That surely would be welcomed by so many players, not just Rangers.
While that too sounds cool, what happens when the game is going and the camp times out? That would suck..
Add gambling to the tent and you have a party! hehe
