Ok, could I ask any Valcyn Rangers/Scouts etc what creature gives high Overal Quality wooly hide? Also can u please list them, i would love to hear of some on tatotione....

Can i ask Valcyn Rangers or otherwise, What creature has a high Overall quality wooly fur? and could u list a few id really like to find some above 700 on tat.

Sorry I can't be much help at the moment b0ba, but I just sold all my woolly hide yesterday and don't remember if it was good quality or not

To the best of my knowledge, there is no one creature resource that is always good quality because, just like mined resources, creature-harvested resources shift every few days or weeks.

If you are after woolly hide on Tatooine, you're best bet IMO is to hunt bantha. There is also easy woolly hide to farm on Corellia from durnis and paralopes, but that is not even half as much fun as killing bantha

Is it just high OQ that you are after? Send me a /tell or an email in game and let me know what attributes of woolly hide you need and I'll try and get back to you with some creatures that have what you want. I may even have a large stack of woolly to sell you

I been looking for a large creature with wooley hides on Corellia, ain't found one yet. Paralopes and durnis seem to be the most prolifiic. Crazed durni are best, 25 units per. No larger creature seems to drop wolley.

And at a whopping 1xp per creature, it's about not worth my time to take out these lil rascals. Would rather go on my money making missions and forget about harvesting totally for a while. Anytime I can make 3k killing butterflies or gronda, 12k an hour, well...harvesting can wait. Money is nice, but why burn out a decent pistol for 1xp per, versus 1100 xp per. Simple math.

Well since I'm not on Valcyn this probably won't help much but the best spot I've found Wooley hides is Yavin IV. You can take Mamiem missions and harvest the wooley hides off of them for some extra profit. On Kauri right now the Mamiem hides have a 929 OQ and I can sell them for 10cr/unit on the bazaar in less then 24 hours. The mamiems are non-aggro and they don't assist each other. The adult males are the toughest of the bunch at level 18and light armor. They have around 4500 HAM (I tamed a baby to check it out) and the missions can easily be done solo if you have a pet who can tank (any decent non-CH pet will work...Rock Beetle, Mt Krevol, Cowardly Gurreck). The missions also net you about 3.5-5k each. Each Mamiem drops anywhere from 20-55 wooley hides (fat & healthy on my server) depending upon whether it's a male, female or youth.

Its not really what creature, its more like what planet. On Wanderhome we had some really nice Wooly hide on Corellia for a few days, i managed to earn 150k credits from selling fur i got from Durnis/Crazed Durnis

Btw anyone know any other creature that gives wooly hide on Corellia? A bigger one like Humbaba or Sharnaff or something, but then again 25 units of hide from a crazed durni is decenti think.

The best I have found for Wooly on Corellia is like everyone else has said, Durni, Crazed Durni and Paralope

Well, according to the resource search on swgcraft.com, the highest OQ wooly on Valcyn that has been "verified" and "available" is Talusian wooly hide at 581 OQ.

That's not to say that there might not be something out there that hasn't been verified, though. I didn't do that search.
