Well I finally got my dewbacks all in a row, and decided upon my profession. I am happy to say I will be living my life as a Ranger. I started out in Bio Engineering and Creature Handling, and found I just dont like sitting around crafting tissues and collecting DNA samples. I finally finished the trapping tree in scout last night, and found the ranger trainer. With all the scouting I had done, I almost have enough XP for advancement in camping and tracking.

I find I like the group of people who call themselves rangers. All the ones I have met (not that many) are friendly and willing to help. Everyone on this board also seems very friendly and will help out a ranger in need. Not like the BE board that is filled with complaints about a broken class and everyone bragging about how they power grinded to master (these are usually the ones that complain that there is nothing to do and the class is broken)!

A question for everyone out there. Is there an Antarian Rangers guild set up on Lowca yet, and if so where is it? Also I have a group of friends I hang out with alot, and we have kinda declared ourselves an unoffical PA (we don't have a guild or name, just help each other out all the time). Will this be a problem if I would like to become an <AR>? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the best (IMHO) community in SWG. I am also on Lowca as well and feel free to send me a tell for tips, help, training or if you just want to hunt some big game

I definitely agree on this being the best community.
It seems we are the only community that doesn't spend
most of our time complaining about things unliked about our profession.
Why, you ask. Simple. Our profession ROCKS! Whats to complain about?

Also, it addes a lot to a profession when the coorespondant puts
total effort into his job. Thanks again NRaas!

Congratulations!

On the AR website, there doesn't seem to be a Lowca chapter listed. If there is one, whomever is leading it, contact Zkull!

As for why there is not much complaining about our profession, I think it's because the correspondents work hard to create a positive atmosphere (very hard, have you seen the number of posts NRaas has? Incredible!). Also, many of us are Rangers because we fell into it. Because it's what we enjoy doing as part of our gameplay. "Oh, I'm getting a lot of scouting XP.. hey! I can be a ranger!" Sometimes, players have to grind (the last 20k of frontiering experience, man, for someone who doesn't group, is really REALLY tough), but we don't seem to grind half as much as the other professions (IMHO).
