Thread: NRaas can we get a clarification on Camps Disbanding from Combat...mentioned from another thread
NRaas,
You mentioned in another thread that you thought camps would only auto-disband from combat if you take damage during the fight and you also said that you' thought this was how /coneal & /maskscent would drop after the next patch.
Well I did some testing last night with my pet and I can tell you that camps auto-disband regardless of damage taken onceyou enter combat so I hope this isn't the case for /conceal & /maskscent with the new patch coming. If it is, there is no way we are going to be able to re-conceal everyone in our group after each fight.
To test the camp/combat thing I set up a Field Base on the beach on Yavin IV near a group up Tybis and pulled out a pet. I sent the pet in to tank (pet was ungrouped so adds wouldn't come to me) and waited 20 seconds for him to establish aggro. I then targetted my pet's target and started blasting away with my pistol. 10 seconds (roughly) I initiated combat I got the camp/combat auto-disband message. Now I hadn't taken any damage at all. All of the creatures involved, including my pet, were still at 50m out and I was not hit with any kind of ranged attacks. The only thing I can think of, if it does consider damage is that the game considers special costs (from weapon use) as damage since I was using healthshot & bodyshot during the fight.
Any idea if this is what caused it or do you know how the /conceal & /maskscent dropping during combat is going to work?

I will test this specifically on Test Center to ensure that my ramblings are completely factual![]()

My impressions during my trip to Endor with a group of other players:
- The Fire team (composed of Riflemen, and a Bounty Hunter) never lost /maskscent during combat unless they were directly attacked by the creatures.
- I, on the other hand, lost /maskscent during every fight, as I was fighting close range.

But like I said, I will test this issue specifically to ensure my facts are correct. ![]()
