Thread: Newb Questions about Camo Kits
Do camo kits give the same amount of exp as maskscent when you go near an aggro creature?
Also, when you put Camo kits on others. Do you recieve exp when they are not scented by aggros? So in theory you could get 5x amount of exp if 5 people went around redcons?
BTW, im a novice Ranger going toward master and was just curious about camo kits before i started mass making them
I'm not totally sure, but I think you get XP from camo you've placed on other people, if you're in the same group. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Welcome to Rangerdom Seige
You do get xp, dunno the exact amount, for applying it to others and having them run around creatures.
Yes boys and girls, another "exploit" - camo your friends and you all drive around Lok or Endor and give XP to the Ranger.

I play solo most often (because I usually play when most decent people are asleep!), so I don't know what kind of xp you get for concealing others, but I do know that for a successful conceal you get 2/3 the xp as you would for using mask scent. I'm guessing that's because of the 'exploit' that JBMat mentioned, but like I said, I don't use camo kits on others, so I don't know what the xp is for that.
I also solo most of the time, I find it more enjoyable, but you had better stick to maskscent for that kind of scouting xp. If you can get with large groups and take down lots of creatures, harvest everything, especially what you need for camps.
Depending on if you want to be a ranger or you are just going because a holo told you. If you are going to master and drop I advise you use maskscent in heavily populated areas such as creature caves and such, that will give u good xp.
I for one only make camokits in large numbers when getting ready to go out to a certain planet, tho if I come across good stats on some then I might try and collect alot and save them for later when going back. For the most part tho you probably only need to make alot of camo if you live on an adv world, even then they don't help much since you can't tell when some NPCs are going to attack you or not.
