Thread: I made it back
Hey all, I was gone from the game for a couple months due to a car accident....what have I missed? I know my house and all my stuff is gone. I cant use my pets....I am totally dazed and confused here....Trying to play catch up....
Any Shadowfire Rangers still around?
Welcome back! I have a friend that hasn't been on in quite a while either, but not for any reason other than being busy and being interested in other things. He's lucky he bought both of our houses when he was playing more than I was because I've paid more in maintenance on his house than he paid for my house! And that was when they were going for 20k!
Anywhat, you've missed out on quite a bit, but nothing that can't be caught up. I'm sure you're right about your house and anything in it, which is unfortunate, along with the changes to pets, but there have been many additions and improvements that have definitely been for the better. The new politician class, player cities, player mounts, and player vehicles, just to name the biggest things. Plus, there are finally a number of Jedi running around, though I haven't seen any, and a way to find out how to unlock your Force Sensitive Character Slot so that you can attempt to create your own Jedi character.
As far as Rangering goes, in case you don't know, we now have an improvement on /maskScent (though this is a contentious subject) and the ability to do limited tracking.
Now all they have to do is hurry up and finish the profession sweeps and give everyone the things they promised so many months ago, we can all be happy!
I do like some of the changes. The vehicles kick but, but man, they degrade fast. I like the idea that they can be destroyed by target NPC's (Experienced that firsthand yesterday) . I was a bit ticked off about my house, my deeds in the house, my resources, etc. But whats a Ranger to do......hunt some more.
I cant believe how many of my buddies are no longer around. Its a sad thing. If anyone is on the Shadowfire server and wants to hunt, give me a shout. I do sorely miss my GSP. He was the best hunting and fishing partner. Oh well life goes on. Thanks for the welcome back guys and posting with new info. See ya in happy hunting grounds.
