I found this guy who is buying fish stocks for 2k each.

Yep, if you're dedicated to it... Fishing can become the artisan-type grind that few can stand but many profit from.

Fish stocks? What's a fish stock?

Stock as in the whole peice.

But I still get the fish meat.

I make far way more money selling stocks than selling fish meat. That doesn't really sound right,.

Oops...I've been fishing and I think now I've been selling way under market value. I've been selling at 1 unit of meat for 10 credits. Have I been screwing up? Is that too cheap?

Just curious. I hate survival.

yes that is under value!!! think about the time it takes to fish. Most fish, even if it is terrible quality, you should never sell for under 25cpu. See Volsteds priceing guide at the top of this forum. Oh, and if you hate grinding survival, find a spot where you can throw down a camp on the edge of the water, and fish from inside the camp. you will grind about 6000 sv xp an hour, possibly more if you are efficient.

Fish stocks are where you put their little fish-heads in the middle part 'n' then you put their little fishy handsfrom both sides in the little outside parts 'n' then, um, you caught a fish

btw, basic Economics 101 here, Fishing is typically more difficult and more time/labor intensive then the other meats. Typical pricing will reflect this: I find 5 times other meats not too far off, and 10 times can also happen. I have sold for 60cr/u and 40cr/u, could have sold for double that. I have a guy always asking my for good fish meat too. Like many of my contacts, I sold it on the bazaar one day and was stunned that it sold for 60 per. He than contacted me and asked for more. There is a high demand.

Can anyone recommend a good spot where one can plant a tent close enough to the water to fish? When I plant a camp it always puts too much of a 'land border' around it. And what type of tent should I put up to do this?

The little pond on Tatooine near the Darklighter estate is good for camping. You put the camp down and the entire camp is underwater. Look for the purple spot on the Ctrl-V map.

The only way you can fish and still be in your camp is to use the kit as close as water as you can get. When the camp appears, it raises the land. Next, you should move closer to where the water would be and thenyou mustdisband the camp so the raised land dissapears. You will be floating on air.When this happens, plant another camp kit and your camp will be in shallow water.

A REAL good spot to swamp a camp is just outside of Theed. If you head straight out of the starport through the square withthe fountain (is that north?)for a bitthere is a bridge. Go to the far side of the bridge, then go underneath it right next to the river. You can get an almost fully submerged camp here. You can fish and camp for XP, plus people are always running across the bridge so you can disband faster since your camper count will be pretty high. WOOT.
